Abbotsbury is in the Chesil Bank ward of Dorset Council, a one member ward that takes in thirteen villages from Burton Bradstock round to Portesham. Our councillor is Sally Holland, a Liberal Democrat, elected on 7 May 2024 for a term that runs to May 2029. Email [email protected] or ring 01305 225972. She is the person to go to when a report to Dorset Council has gone nowhere, or when something needs a decision rather than a repair; after the September 2026 parish council meeting she took the lorry problem on the B3157 to Dorset Highways.
