Little Waddon Vineyard
Saturday tours and tastings at a small vineyard past Portesham

Not in Abbotsbury: Little Waddon is at Waddon, on the far side of Portesham, a few miles east along the coast road and up Winters Lane. Simon and Karen grow Seyval Blanc, Regent and Phoenix without sprays and make sparkling and still wines in small batches.
Tours and tastings run on set Saturdays from 2 to 4, £35 a head for three wines and nibbles, adults only, booking essential. There is a wine shop, and a shepherd's hut for two with a wood fired hot tub if you want to stay, no children or pets in the hut.
Dogs on leads on the tour. There are no regular shop hours, so ring or email before you drive over. The 2026 tour dates are on the website. Satnav DT3 4ER.
Book it for the Saturday afternoon and do the Swannery in the morning. Portesham is on the X53, but the vineyard is up the lane beyond it, so this one is easier by car.
